Alice in Wonderland Art and Poem
It was a long way down the rabbit hole
I fell tail over foot past broken clock and twisted tree roots
I found no comfort where I landed. My own skeleton betrayed me,
Always too tall or too small
Little men spoke nonsense, rocking horse flies bite,
And cat's smiles are ghostly things
Every turn is different here. My steps circle forward and back. My old life becomes faint as the silvered moon
I may want to stay. I think perhaps I belong
For they say we are all a little mad here.
