Blood Oaths
The blood of those who are taking their oaths for which ever purpose they must serve is placed in a crystal vial stopped with black wax and sealed with a garnet.
Blood oaths are not to be taken lightly. They are meant to create your family where nature may have erred. Once it has been made it creates a bond that family suppose to mean but is stronger as this is no accident. You have chosen each other.
This bond must be made once as the moon is new and finished when the moon is full. This is to give one time to truly consider the weight of the oath they are making and to erase past bonds and form the new.
Those in the bonding must stand in moving water flowing away from you and coming at least to the ankle but not more. This is for all of your safety.
Once standing those will speak of what has been learned from the connection thus far, both the good and the bad as you are entering a pact this true you must do so with a full understanding of those involved. You must consider your place and your responsibilities. Only then the blood will be placed in the vial from one’s finger tip. Please do not slice your hand. This is ridiculous and can damage an appendage I promise you will miss. As the vial is stopped you will drop it into the water and and wish each other empathy, wisdom, and clarity.
